Hello

Thank you for checking out my blog. My name is Tina, and I am a wife, mother, sister, friend, crafter, Child and Youth Worker and Chronic Illness Warrior.
I have Seronegative Spondyloarthropathy (AS, PsA), Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder, P.O.T.S., High Blood Pressure, PTSD, and Fibromyalgia.
This blog is about my experience, research and healing.
My hope for this blog is to help others, who like me, who are trying to live their best lives while dealing with chronic illness. I want to share my success, failure, finds and explorations. Navigating life with a chronic illness is a difficult journey. People do not see what lies underneath the façade that you and I present to the world. The pain and fatigue are at times unimaginable.
I have been married for thirty years. Dean and I married as kids at 19 and 23. We grew up together and started a family before we were ready. We dedicated our lives to our two girls. Our goal was to raise them in a home with love at its center. We were not perfect parents but we worked hard and did the very best we could. We told them we loved them, and that they mattered everyday.
I am very proud of the family Dean and I made. We want better for our girls. It was important to not repeat the cycle of trauma, abuse and addiction that we were both exposed to during our childhood.
Our daughters have grown to be kind, beautiful women who are good humans. We have gained a son-in-law and daughter-in-law who are salt of the earth people. They love our children as much as we do.

I am a big dog lover. Dean and I are owned by three poodles who make us laugh, offer us unconditional love and bring us much joy. My hobbies are crafting, kayaking and camping. These things are my distractions and bring me solace.
My wish for you is peace and hope along your journey. I want to journey together to share the good and the bad of life with a chronic illness. You are not alone!
